Dyckia remotiflora - Rio Grande do Sul



This species has a broad distribution in South and goes well into
Uruguay and Argentina. In nature they use to be very modest in terms of beauty.
Their leaves elongate and they are takes easily as a plain grass. They are inconspicuous unless blooming. Their flowers are striking red. This one here is preparing for blooming.
