Dyckia marnier-lapostollei
There are many varieties of this species.
Its territory is immense and there are may populations scattered within this territory.
Populations are normally of just a few individuals.
Distant from one another two populations of Dyckia marnier-lapostollei may be different
varieties. Science up to now recognizes just one variety but this is all a question of description of the individuals from these populations.
