Dyckia hebding - here under light cold drizzle

Scaled plants when wet lose their blue /silver looks.
As soon as the sun or the wind comes they assume their beauty again.
Meanwhile heavy rain or hosing remove the silver scales and the
plant turns into a pale drab version of what it might be.
