Dyckia marnier-lapostollei affinis(collected one)
This beautiful to the extreme plant is a Dyckia marnier-lapostollei or a Dyckia marnier-lapostollei affinis, a marnier relative one.
This is a young plant in fact a very young plant ´cause this baby can grow much much more. The adult plants may present rosette of more the 60 (sixty) centimeters wide.
Native to somewhere in Goiás it is fastely turning into a most sought after
Dyckia marnier-lapostollei and it is referred as the big one marnier.
Also the plant does not fertilize itself and in order to guarantee true form one may need two same species blooming plants. This is a good plant to keep it pure strain, no doubt.
I do wonder what it would look like a giant Dyckia marnier lapostollei estevesii....
