Humm.. your already may see the silvery dots all over the young small seedlings.
At this point when seedling are abandoning their seeds the substrate must be absolutely perfect. Seedlings are tiny plants with all their needs. Substrate must be acid, humid and must present a good amount of calcium. This mineral seems to give strenght to the seedlings. I add carbonized 10% rice shells to the substrate. Ashes are full of calcium and magnesiun trace elements Dyckia seedlings eagerly need. Light and temperature well above 15 degrees Celsius are musts you can not deprive the seedlings from them.
