Dyckia Chão-de-Estrelas
".......
A porta do barraco era sem trinco
Mas a lua, furando nosso zinco
Salpicava de estrelas nosso chão
E tu, pisavas nos astros distraída
Sem saber que a ventura desta vida
é a cabrocha, o luar e o violão"
( Authors: Silvio Caldas and Orestes Barbosa)
The name is that of one of the most beautiful Brazilian songs, Chão- de-Estrelas.
The words say of The Moon light passing through the holes of a tin foil roof and spreading stars on the floor. The plant has this beautiful star dusting and the name is to remember the music my mother liked the best Chão-de-Estrelas or floor with stars.
This is an only one amid lots of seedlings from a
Dyckia marnier-lapostollei Bahia and a Dyckia brevifolia Ilha da Cotia.
The Portuguese words above are the last words of the Brazilian song Chão-de-Estrelas.
I myself think this is one of the most beautiful poetries in Portuguese language.
