Dyckias are celebrating life.
Color! Perfume! Yes, some are scented.
Dyckias do not need to die to flower.
This is the most amazing Dyckia quality.
Other bromeliads literally rot in an after blooming sad and foetid funeral.
Dyckias just go on and on.
In fact Dyckias get better every day..the older the better.
Here in Praia do Erwino (Erwino Beach) was found a Dyckia encholirioides specimen with more than a thousand years. Most of its trunk was buried in sand dune and it was meters long.
