Just recently we are coming to know the many new natural looks of this fantastic species.
This Fosteriana variety has narrower leaves and large white thrichostoma.
The leaves are always deep green and the white scales contrasts well on this background.
Also this is one of the whitest Dyckias . This one here was under heavy rain and lost most of its scales. It thrives on rocks and the road seems to have crossed right in the middle of its now most restrict habitat in Northern Paraná.
The plant seems to be less floriferous than the other varieties. I got three seedlings from wild collect seeds and the odds indicate this is a late bloomer.
