Dyckia sp São Marcos - RS

This beautiful plant is not suit for any windowsill.
It gets huge!Lives all around a small side road sanctuary close to
the small town of São Marcos in Rio Grande do Sul. The flowers stalks
are the same size and as thick as broom sticks. Flowers are yellow and absolutely numerous and small. Produces bird seeds like seeds. These very small seeds is
a characteristic of many Southern Brazilian Dyckia species.
The first Dyckia to be noticed to produce these tiny seeds was Dyckia maritima.
