Dyckia reitzii
Santa Catarina
One of the most attractive Dyckias. May occur in red and several shades of reddish.
The deep wine and silvered form occurs in North east Rio Grande do Sul close
to Santa Catarina border.
This beautiful small Dyckia species grows on the highest points
along Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul border.
It is said to be found in Minas Gerais and on the highest mountain of Paraná State.
In all its occurence sites there may be snow in some days of our winters.
Here the plant is about to set its flower stalk.
