Dyckia alba

No , no the flowers are not white nor paler than any other.
The plant obviously is yet not white either.
Alba (white) here refers to the white cotton like structure amid the flowers.
Dyckia albotrichostachya(white furred Dyckia spike) would be fair and correct if
we needed to maintain the alba word.
But all in taxonomy is fair since we had those laughable Paradisea apoda...
All odds point to new taxonomic jewels in near future.
All in all this is all Human. Science is not a God play.
We are all normal human beings.
All is fair in Human play.
