Dyckia lindelvaldeae

Dyckia lindelvaldeae

Here it is producing six flower spikes.
The flowers are intense yellow/orange petaled and disgusting
smelling. Some botanists relate very pleasantly aromatic flowers but
this one is the opposite. It stinks badly.
Also this plant is not self fertile. Its slender flower spikes produce bad smelling not self fertile flowers. For one to get seeds there must be two non cloned distint plants flowering at the same time. Casually that´s what we have here this time. so we hope to have true seeds.
The plant is small sized and absolutely gorgeous.
