Dyckia gradeae

Above you see the one lucky enough to produce seeds with the beauty Dyckia gradeae
This Dyckia marnier -lapostollei came from Bahia. This looks, a Dyckia marnier that looks like this means it comes from Bahia or it is a native to Bahia descendant. No doubt a far superior Dyckia marnier-lapostolei. Unhappily this plant do not fertilize itself. Look the babies under the wings ups!... under the leaves.

Well, this is native. This is a Dream Dyckia yes it is but it is a species. This wonderful plant was discovered by a very diligent and curious and serious botanist that lives within the Amazonian wilderness. Amazon is a vast territory that compresses more than The Amazonas Brazilian State. This baby, this botanic marvel lives right in the border of the jungle. This Dyckia is astonishing in every respect, flowers are superb and the plant itself is breathtaking. This one is in bloom. You can see the basis of the flowers stalk here. Some flowers will be left to breed true and many will be polinized by Dyckia marnier lapostollei. I want a super Dream Dyckia, the one that is hidden well deep into my dreams.I already have one year old seedlings from this plant and one Dyckia brevifolia. Spines are intense red.
