These rubra plants are intactac just ´cause they are wind and cold protected
by the grasses and bushes around.
Ice burn ones!
Temperature can drop to -16 C!!
Rubras are more tender to frosts!
Green type form plants seem to better resist deep cold.
Grasses and bushes protect them against the cold wind and deep frosts.
