Dyckia cabreraeThis is a tremendously rare Dyckia native to Santa Catarina Southwest uphills
from Lages to Campos Novos.
Its cultivation presents some problems and the plant can´t stant several years without winter and it can stand temperatures as low as 18 or more degrees Centigrade below zero.
This here shown is rubra plant. Notice the rainbow sheen on the leaves, very hard to be captured by the camera.
and they are very far apart in nature.
