This is no doubt one of the most spectacular Dyckia species.
Native to Santa Catarina southwest and close to Rio Grande do Sul border.
It has been observed and followed in nature and under cultivation.
Dyckia magnifica is the proposed name.
Dyckia discoides another sp under observation seems to be a close affinis of it and a much smaller version.
I have seeds from both under request by email.
Dyckia magnifica was the pollen donator to give birth to
the also spectacular Dyckia hb Liz Taylor.
