A Dyckia plant in nature  in Northeast Santa Catarina uphills.
These picture were made to show you how Dyckia may  be found in nature.
The rock is granite. Notice the thick layer of moss and the organic debris that makes the substrate for both develop altogether.
this pictures were taken last July.

 

My hands gives you an idea of the plant size.
 

 

Here we lifted up the plant and the substrate and the moss carped were all lifted up altogether as the Dckia root system  keeps  everything together.
Notice the dark mark of the humidity there bellow.
Tjhe proposal here was to show you how a Dyckia lives on the rock.
