This plant belong to the very very ancient group of Dyckias.
This is amid the the most ancient ones. From this group all others derived.
Duckias appeared by the very first time where today is the south on Santa Catarina State and the north of Rio Grande do Sul. From there they spread North till the right margin of the Amazon River...( Dyckia sickii, paraensis) and got back to the area they initiated their journey and they pants are the most modern ones. So today we see the oldest and the newest in the very same area. Chorestaminea, julianae are amid the most recent ones.
Have you ever even imagined or wondered such a beauty would exist?
Have one seen it in any other place than here?
This is what a mean for spreading Dyckias all over the world.
