Yes, this is species! Native to the southern part of Paraná State.

This plant here above is an adult One.

Here above is a young not bloomed yet plant.
Below the young juvenile plant.

Look how many looks the very same plant may show.
No Dyckia show its final face before blooming.
Just after blooming by the first time a Dyckia will say who it really is.
This plants grows in São João do Triunfo in Paraná amid Mate trees.
Mate is a native tree which leaves are used to make the famous Mate Tea.
This tree grows in Argentina Paraguay and South in Brazil.
In nature this plant presents very red leaves and golden big and conspicuous spines.
A rare plant.
