Dyckia delicata from Brarros Cassal seedlings

Dyckia delicata

Why the seedlings? Simply to give odds a chance to come up with something
simply ages ahead from gorgeous.
This species is very very open and presents several looks in nature and in the very same spot.
They may be yellowish, grey, ash chestnut like, silver, red, lead like colored and so on and on.
In nature it may take several years for a seedling to prosper and get adult.
In controlled situations we may produce hundreds of seedlings in a single season.
We have a chance to get some very striking plants according to what we are looking for.

Don´t worry there is no culling here. Everybody will love to get Dyckia delicata.
They are extremely rare even here in Brazil.
The plant is referred to one single very acentuated aclive of a mountain slope. This slope is full of unstable big stones that must have fell from the mountain. It is on these stones that this Dyckia dwells. But just recently the plant was found in two more slopes close to this already known one.
