The fan Dyckia: Beautiful, intriguing and absolutely unfertile

The world famous Fan Dyckia is one nature occurrence no doubt.
Did you get any viable seed from one of this plants?
At the beginning everybody thought after failing to obtain viable seeds: Oh I have just one plant, I need two... two not related plants.
Then two are at bloom a the same time and nothing came up: Oh, these are clones of the very same plant! I need a diffetent one.
Then one plant is brought from Australia, one from Japan, one from USA and added the those already together and nothing viable came up: Oh, oh, and more ohs..ups! Eureka!ve been fooled!
Yes, you were but not just only you, we all were.
The fan Dyckia does not produce seeds. You may cross it with just everything.
What induced the plant to fan also produced a unfertile plant.
But if so how come a Dyckia that does not produces its own seeds survive in wilderness?
Simply it does not survive by its own!
Where dit they came from? From Heavens above?
There are another not fanned but spiral normal plant there in habitat!!! Simply simple as that!
...and why I didn´t know?
Well, well, well...well well and many more wells ...you just do not know
how deep is that well..... a stone you throw takes ages to touch the bottom of that well...so deep it is, so black it turns, so ugly it gets...nothing comes from it, no drinking water, no hope and the eco, when it gets out is something like this: flaaaaaaatttttteryyyyyyy............
It remember me of the special and beautiful song:
"Hello darkness, my old friend.
ve come to talk with you again.."
...and my word like silent raindrop fell...and echoes in the well of silence."

This is the disgusting well of flatery!

Science is the Light we all praise.
We depend on it even for the living.
We came so far.We touched the Moon! We went to the deepest of the seas.
We climbed the highest mountain uncountable times, there is trash up there.
We solved the polio. We are a step away to do the same with cancer, Aids and other human rapers.
We get together to discuss our international concerns many times a year.
I feel the pain of my brother in Africa. I panic with the fire in Australia as it was behind my garden. I saw the rescuer giving water to the tormented Koala and I wanted to hug the man.
We saw that tsunami and we suffered till our souls bleed. No matter who nor which brother does the Good, nor where he is: we celebrate. The more Science goes on the more we may see Light to our worries. We are coming to the conclusion this here in fact is our home and we...we are all brothers.
No matter the faith we are getting into believe in ourselves.
No matter your dreams we dream with you.
No matter where you are we are by your side, so close we are you touch me...
We went high, we went deep we still did not know
the Wells of the Man´s Brain, the darkness that may fulfill our souls.
Let there be Light! Science, Let there be Light!!!!!!!!!
Lady Botanics, Mr. taxonomy we all trusted on you.
We all tried to reach you where are you now?
