Dyckia fosteriana nivosa - Lapa - Paraná

Dyckia fosteriana nivosa
The smallest of all Dyckia fosteriana and also one of the prettiest.

This plant bears very large loose and white scales that are removed with the heavy rain.
The central crown area is always scaled and white as these are less loose scales.
The impression is a snowy plant hence the word nivosa.
