This not fanned fan Dyckia estevesii is not sterile also it doesn´t need another  same species plant to produce fertile seeds.

This plant is self fertile!

It all seems the very same mechanism that produces fanned individuals also sterilizes the fan Dyckia plants.
Tudo indica que o mesmo mecanismo que produz indivíduos em leque também esteriliza as plantas em leque.

People around the globe were made to believe all fanned individuals spread all around the globe came from just a single plant individual and as being so all the plants we know were clones from a very single only one individual plant as none, around the globe, has succeeded in getting true seeds from a fanned plant.

How come we do not get this hybrids frequently?  One or two seed pods may appear

as already related but never by the plenty as any other Dyckia plants.
Como não termos estes híbridos frequentemente?

If the plant is in fact fertile, why we never saw a silver one, a red one or even a variegated one?
