Yes, this is only one plant. Dyckia brevifolia splits head and forms dense clumps of clones
This plant was found by my mother in 1983 after a huge and historical Itajaí River flood.
The plant came to a small sand river beach well wrapped in mud.
Dyckia brevifolia grown as a Deuterocohnia.
