This dark chestnut-colored small beauty is a variable one and it is native to the center part of Brazil in Chapada dos Veadeiros. Probably it is a hybrid and the parent plants disappeared and are no longer trackable. This is more a commonplace than we can wonder.
some Dyckias species are hybrids in spite we do not spot their parent plants anymore nywhere around.
Below we see another look of the very same hybrid.
Seeds will show many new ones, neve seen before.
