Dyckia delicata aurea

Aurea are much smaller and fatter (more succulent ones) plants and they occur in nature far upper on the same vertical basaltic wall.
The described delicata ones, the type form, came from descents of fallen aurea.
maybe delictas found a more nutritious terrain amide dead bush leaves and grasses. Delicata type are found amid shrubs. Aurea are fixed higher and on bare  vertical basaltic rock .
A common mortal walker like me would never get close to aurea in nature.
We can see it at distance from the dirt small road that snakes among the hills to another small town named Lagoão.
