Araucaria angustifolia
This spectacular Brazilian pine likes the same king of soil Dyckias does, organics and acid with very good drainage. These trees only grows South in Brazil and up mountains. They are found only where it is cold during the winter . Here they are in Campo Alegre Santa Catarina some 46 kilometers away from Joinville.
These trees are protect by our law and in no case they are allowed to be cut down.
