This marvel as a look of plenty and gorgeousness....a look we look for on Dyckias.
The spination is quite pectinatic or fish bone looking.
this baby comes from Rio Grande do Sul the Southernmost part of Brazil where the cold is a sure presence in winter and uphills frost and snow are common place.
People use to think of Brazil as a torrid, colorful tropical parrot filled place and many tropical beaches...or endless forest infested by dangerous animals and Indians....
..this is not so.
