Dytckia fosteriana X Dyckia marnier-lapostollei

This unnamed hybrid gets shinning red and white when  the water is suspended

in midsummer. Some hybrids are pictures in full suffering mode and taken as

normal , but normal should be a well fed plant.

I wonder if crossing these to a  fancy Dyckia dawsonii would not result in something

similar to Dyckia Brittle Star.

Of course, this is just conjecturing, wonder about...
