Dyckia Hebdingii affinis

This is one of the most spectacular known  Dyckia hebdingii relatives.

This plant was condemned to extinction by the local farmers who took them

from the rocky outcrops. They feared their kids and pets would be injured by the plant.

We found just a few individuals growing on a rocky outcrop away in the field.

Now these farmers are allied on the preservation of this magnificent species.
