Dyckia fosteriana-fosteriana...a small beauty.

Some Dyckia fosteriana-fosteriana are so small they fit comfortably inside one´s hand.
A perfect choice to any windowsill intrepid gardener.
It takes some cold and even mild frosts.
They hardly sprout laterally but they split head. Here it is tripling.
If I had to choose just one Dyckia species this would be my choice, no doubt.
Also Dyckia fosteriana complex requires  deep and serious study. Its blood  or affinis species come from all the was South from the border with the State of São Paulo to Northeastern Santa Catarina.
This species is mostly in shadows as no  recent studies has being done without the mold of a poorly  made past.
A sight to behold!
