This leaf presents a deep groove on top, a well marked keel on the bottom surface. This keel is so well pronounced it divide the inferior surface of the leaf in two. These two bottom surfaces are up lifted at the tip of the leave making a very peculiar terminal apical spine.
Notice the basal Dyckia lines are also uplifted near the leaf tip.
