Dyckia burle-marxii aff
Dyckia burle-marxii is known only by some plants cultivated in the scape little farm
of the world known Brazilian landscaper and artist architect Burle Marx in Recreio dos Bandeirantes - Rio de Janeiro.
The plant was described in his honor without even knowing the right place
of it in wilderness.
Burle Marxi collected and introduced many native plants in our public gardens and squares.
He was one of the pioneers in the use of many native plants as the main focus in a landscape.
This is the closer we get to Dyckia Burle-marxii and in my opinion an even more distintive plant.
