New Dyckia species from South in Brazil

In Nature we see just a very few individuals as intense red colored as
this seedling here. Seed collected in wilderness.
Weird enough and contrary to the expected seeds were not small
as it is in other Dyckias from the very same area.

This is another soft spined Dyckia and also a just found one.
Undescribed this is a red and strikingly new Dyckia species native
to Rio Grande do Sul. They come in all green, deep silver coated and sole red
and chestnut colored spines.
Its crown reaches up to 40 cm across.
Flowers in orange conspicuous flowers attached to an unbranched slender
flower spike up to 65 cm tall.
