Dyckia leptostachya
This baby has a wide range indeed and wel surpasses the limits of Brazil.
It may be found in Southeast Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul, Uruguay,
Argentina, Mato Grosso do Sul and Southern Bolivia.
Oddly enough, there are not many local variations as this plant can be found
in greenish, reddish dressings only.
It was used largely to give color to hybrids.
Large clumps are breathtaking when in full bloom.
Its flowers are of a beautifull yellow hue.
