Dyckia fosteriana from Marialva in Paraná-Brazil

Dyckias use to divide heads. Their crowns duplicate or get triplets and even
can be divided in four and five crowns or heads in a single plant.
As the crowns get older they separate from each other turns into distinct
individuals. Some plant groups we see in wilderness are not generated
by seeds nor lateral sprouts but just one single multidivided plant.
All those plants are in fact the very same single plant now with their heads far apart from each other.
