The mystery is solved....

Dyckia goehringii produced the seeds when its flowers....

were pollinated by the Dyckia pectinata... to

...produce this beauty below a Dyckia goehring half Dyckia pectinata.
Its spines are also soft as the pectinata´s spines.


Dyckia lovers frequently rely on open pollinated seeds to
produce new plants. Some times these new plants are
extremely beautiful but it must be said: open pollinates seeds.
Just the mother plant is recognizable for the seeds comes from ther flower stalks.
