Dyckia beateae

Dyckia beateae

This Brazilian Dyckia species is one of the most beautiful of all Dyckia species and also one of the most variable in its colors. The plant depends exclusively on the Sun to show it best looking.
The very same plant can be sole red, several shades of reds, Green and red in many different compositions. Also it may be very silvery coated and so on and on. It all depends on the quality and the amount of Sun it gets. The more scorching the Sun the more beautiful is the plant under our human eyes.
This is out veg Ara macao or the Scarlet macaw.
No collection is at its best without a true pure strain Dyckia beateae, for sure.
Outside Brazil and in North of Mato Grosso we can find spectacular hybrids
from this species.
