Dyckia marnier-lapostollei var. estevesii

This is a collected specimen.
The flower stalk is clear and green and this is not wide spread among Dyckia marnier-lapostollei varieties. Just a very few bears this color.  Spination is not a reliable hint as many have such spines.
Here the flowers tend not to open and this allied to the greenish stalk may give you some almost trustable hints of  this to be a Dyckia marnier-lapostollei var. estevesii.
I myself feel this is not crucial to determine the varieties in one Dyckia species. Dyckia classification and description are so full of problems it is a miracle some mortals as myself getting to know the species.
We have just began to understand Dyckias as a whole.
Dyckias interfertilize promptely and avidly so identifying correctely a species is a good enough task.
