Dyckia marnier-lapostollei the many turns Dyckia initiating bloom

The very first bloom of plant just like this is always a time to celebrate.
The plant is well known non self fertile one and we must have two at bloom
to produce true seeds.
Dyckia marnier-lapostollei is a wide spread species in our Central area.
We have many varieties, all regional ones.
Under culture around the world we see many, many hybrids.
The fact that the plant is beautiful, desired and  non self fertile leads to a myriad
of indistinguishable variations as people  intercross varieties.
Dyckia marnier-lapostollei regional varieties may be extremely difficult to be told apart and even an expert would be lost performing this task, let alone the cultivars.
The only safe and secure words to say about them all is this I like the most or this I think is beautiful.
Even when you yourself collect the plant in wilderness no much more than this is
trustable to be said.
Fact is Dyckia marnier-lapostollei is a big and beautiful Dyckia complex with many dazzling
members.
Needless to say here the plant needs less water in its roots than  a green bald plant but this doesn´t mean  no moisture at all. The roots must be well close to moisture all the time.
More than half the pot must be filled with drainage material. Roots will get there and will love the moisture formed there. The drainage area within the pot must be well aerated to.
