Big and beautiful this plant is a surprise to everybody as it is a Southwest Santa Catarina native bears beautiful huge clear hooks...and I barely can wait for its seeds as in nature we have green, red/wine and silver coated ones. This specimen her seems to carry the gened for them all...
Adding to this the plant is self fertile what means that the possibilities are extremely high for us to have all sort of coloring here.
The plant is one of the rarest Dyckias of all.
