Dyckia speciosa are native to Northeast Santa Catarina.
It is a smaller plant when compared to Dyckias gloriosa and its spines
are bigger and much more numerous.
The underleaves are shinning  silver and also a very thin silver line is present at the leaf edges.
Flores are bigger but the flower stalk is much shorter than those of the  gloriosa.

This species is found also in green dressing.
