One very special little garden on a shallow pottery basin.

Put a lot of drainage inside a big shallow pottery basin.
Put enough substrate over the drainage to form a substantial hill
well above the pottery margin.
Dyckias love this ventilated position also readily dried out after watering.
Do not keep your plant below the pot margin. This is ugly to see and hides the plant.
Many times also damage the leaves. So keep your Dyckia well above the pot edges.
The pebbles are covering the substrate to protect it and also for aesthetics proposal.

The narrow leaved green plant is a new species from Campo Alegre-SC.
Then you see here:
The green nameless one .
Two Dyckia fosteriana
Two Dyckia paucispina shots
Two Dyckia marnier-lapostollei sedlings
Two Dyckia delicata seedlings
Two Dykia lindelvaldeae sedlings.

Yes, when all these plants grow bigger....Then I will transfer some
to better containers. Dyckia love to be transplanted.Of course, with all the care...
