Dyckia reitzii rubra



The first flowers are pollinated successfully by this biped bee and his paint brush.
Notice the petals are shrinking.



These freshly opened flowers are still to be self pollinated by that funny odd looking bee.



Those few to be opened will be left on account of the hummingbirds.
I love surprises ....
But up there the new pollinated ones must be well protectd
I am anxious to show you all the seed pods....
