The nectar abundance is impressive.
It is just 6:00am and the day began cloudy and cold, no pollinating agent but me is around.
This means no pollination atempt will work now.
I will wait till the day warm up a bit and will uncover the flower stalk once more
and we wil check this again.
I will self pollinate some more flowers and thenI will make some crossings. I have echolirioides spinossissima, Brittle Star, pectinata .......
Notice these flowers are drenched in nectar.
Hummingbirds would love to reach them.
Also notice the basal flowers have being successfully pollinated by this biped bumblebee.
