This beautiful blood red spined Dyckia was made from a Santa Catarina native one.
I think this would be a fine choice for landscaping in areas where water is scarce.
This luxuriant beauty also produce spectacular flower stalks where conspicuous orange colored large flowers are well  ans esthetically arranged.

Dyckia do great with very little water and  should be taken as landscaping plants.
They do fine in a rock garden and offer a new texture to any composition.

Today Spring is just two days away but all the creatures and me 
we all sensed Spring  since a month ago.
