Dyckia dawsonii, a young plant.

Dyckia Dawsonii

This species was found by Dawson in Mato Grosso, Brazil and no one was able to find it again.
This plant here came directly from California. It is a Bill Baker plant. The master in hybridisation used this plant as basis for some of his most impressive results we know.
This plant here was brought to me by Nels Christiansen and  it was given to be by Steven Ball.
I do have friends in California, the land of magic, dreams and where the rivers flow in pure milk and honey...a land of friends. Here is my toast to them all!
