This is  a unnamed undescribed Dyckia species a friend of mine found in North Rio Grande do Sul. It is a multileafed plant and a giant one. The overall shape is the one of a bluesilvery ball.
It never bloomed here in my garden. Joinville maybe is a bit too hot for the plant that is used to  many frosts  from mid autumn to mid Spring on a weekly basis as the plant is native to an elevated hillside region.
Anyway this is one of the rarest Dyckias and one of the most beautiful Brazilian Dyckias.
It does deserve a larger and a special pot.
This huge Vietnamese glazed pot is a luxury I just now could afford to acquire as it is very, very costy here.
