Dyckia reitzii a special dark clone, should it be a rubra....

It is almost all recovered from the deep cold it was under  last July and August.
The plant presented many  cold burns scars.
It resisted to close to -10 Celsius, this is way bellow freezing.
In the right top corner you can spot a bit of a stunning beautiful
wide broad leafed reitzii rubra.
In nature both live together and here they share the very same ample shallow ceramic bowl.

This plant is dividing crown  and with time it will be two vertical  and opposing flat rosettes.
This prevents the water from being caught trapped in the middle of the flat crowns.
Nature must be wise otherwise won´t  resist and succumb.
In nature just the more adaptable ones survive.
