Dyckia pectinata..rare up to no compare...

Dyckia pectinata

Dyckia pectinata
 (like a comb)
It is so rare no one dares to compare.
The only population known in wilderness was close to a road where pineapple juice was sold to turists.
The pine apple crowns were simply thrown down the cliff in front of the "drink shop" where this plants were growing.
These crowns transmitted a lethal virosis to the wild pectinata plants.
They are almost extint by now.

The spines are soft rubbery and won´t injure your skin.
